Remote & East to Access but a little Buggy

We loved this campground! It was so easy to access, the roads were well maintained and it was right on the coast. Plenty of campsites so one was easy to grab even without a reservation. Each site is super clean with a fire ring and picnic table. Free water spigots and nice gravity toilets. Price…

Campground near Estuaries and the Beach--a Photographer's Dream

My wife and I stayed at this campground many years ago, and when I came this time, the changes were mind blowing. The first time, it was rustic with high grass, a dirt entry road, and most campers were in tents. This time, the landscaping was well manicured, there were paved roads throughout, and…

Nice campground

Nothing too special but it was nice enough. No water hookup but they have water on site to fill your tank and fresh water pumps near the site.

Great visit

Started the year out on some trails. Had the place almost to myself except for the campers. Very well maintained. River is up, so some areas are flooded but still able to get a few miles in today!

Christmas Week at Cedar Point

We could not have Christmas with our kids, so we went camping. Where? To our new favorite campground, of course!

Back to CP. We were in site 11 on this trip and we reserved it because it is close to the bath house.

The campground has only had about 12-15 campers in it this week. We love the…

  • Crab legs over the campfire. (You should have joined us.....so good....buy yours at Lowe’s food, closest grocery to campground)
  • Our setup. Extra tank of LP for LP firepit. It was soooo cold I had real fire on one side and LP firepit on other side. Hubs LOVES his outdoor kitchen.
  • Chillaxing by the fire.

Still Like This Campground

We came back for Thanksgiving week and had a blast! We were in site 1 and it was awesome! It is bigger than site 17 and you only have a neighbor on one side.

We rode bikes on the marsh trail which is just down the road the campground is on and watched kayakers and fishermen launch from the…

  • Heavy Duty fire ring with swing cooking grate.
  • Lots of space! Shaded!

Amazing Little Campground

We camped here in October 2020 and stayed in site 17. It is a great site with lots of room between you and the next camper.

The bath facility is in a very nice building, is heated and has individual locking shower rooms so you have total privacy and security. The roads are paved and the paved…

  • Hubs looks like a ghost, he didn’t want to be in photo, LOL.
  • Love these big sites!

It’s a national forest...

This site is conveniently close to many beach attractions. To compare it to the local RV sites it so great in the aspect you are not on top of each other. The site itself for it being on “national park/forest land,” is “ok.” But in comparison to other national parks or federal land, it is barely a…

Clean and Small Campground

We really enjoyed our night at Oyster Point.  The host was friendly and helped me find another campsite when my was taken by an unregistered guest.  We were able to launch kayaks almost directly from campsite #11.  Tent pads are big enough for 1 large tent or 2 small tents.  The campground is small…
