Wallace Meadows Farm is no doubt a special place.

Established in 2012, Richard and Tisha built their home on the farm so they could run the everyday operations of Wallace Meadows Farm.

They have since added an Airbnb, which is two bedrooms, two baths, living room, kitchen, with washer and dryer,

They provide their guest with excellent customer service and go above and beyond to make every guest stay a memorable one.

With booking of The Guest House at Wallace Meadows Farm you get to enjoy the newly built Sauna and Gym along with enjoying the firepit, horseshoes, and the table under the pergola. You can also help the farmer feed the cows, chickens and fish.

Now we have recently added Campsite at Wallace Meadows Farm on the Trent River.

The Campsite is on the Trent River at the backside of Wallace Meadows Farm and is complete with fire pit, chairs, bench, picnic table, charcoal grill, and Dogi Pot (so you can kindly clean up after your dog). Firewood, Charcoal, S'mores kits and Fresh Eggs available for purchase at The Campsite. Kayaks are available for rent. Fishing and hiking on the 1.1mile trail around the farm.

There is a 1.1 mile walking trail around the property, catch and release pond, and fishing by the river. You can also schedule visiting our Fodder Room and feeding the cows by emailing us. Lake Linda is a private 6 acre lake that's located on our family's 40 acre property. We are just 5 minutes from Surf City & Topsail Island, & 20 minutes from both Wilmington & Jacksonville. You'll often see ducks & geese on the lake. Lake Linda is a peaceful place, but conveniently located within a few minutes of food, entertainment, and of course some beautiful beaches.



You can also see what Lake Linda looks like in the winter by watching Season 8 Episode 6 of ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight! Lake Linda's Christmas Lights is a light display surrounding the Lake and synchronized to music. It's our own winter wonderland. In 2021, Lake Linda's Christmas Lights became a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Whippoorwill Campground and Arena is any Equestrian home away from home!  Whippoorwill Campground and Whippoorwill Arena are located in the heart of Eastern North Carolina, on the county line of Onslow County and Duplin County.  Our facility offers everything in one location! Whippoorwill Campground has miles of trails specially maintained for equestrians. 

Our trails have been built in a fashion that you can make it a short 45-minute ride or hours long.  Due to our location, our trails are soft and sandy and most horses do not require shoes to enjoy our trails. Enjoy a nice trail ride around our fishing pond and then let your horse take a dip in our pond that was created with our mounts in mind!  

Our facility is also perfect for those that have family members that may not be into riding and enjoy camping and fishing. 
Whippoorwill Campground offers a huge parking area, easy-to-access water, and public bathrooms.  If you are camping we offer Electric and water hookups, or full hookups with sewer.

Our facility is perfect for many events ranging from Horse shows, Gaming Shows, Fun Shows, Clinics, Tack Swaps, and Renaissance Fairs to weddings, reunions, 4-H & Scout Campouts, banquets and so much more!
