Best place on the river!

This is actually from 2 years ago I never realized I forgot to write my review. And unfortunately this is right after hurricane Helene now I'm scared the campground may not be there anymore. But if so this was such a nice little campground!! Everybody was nice and helpful still stayed the last weekend they were open that year since they were closing for the fall. End of October. I was able to get my site right on the river like literally feet from the river and even had a nice fire ring and they sold firewood. Coming during the fall leave change man was it beautiful there. Hope I get the chance to come again!! 🙏

Toe River

This is our second time camping here. Best campsite in the place for a small rv or tent is site 56! It’s short and wide but lots of River front access and two trees to hang a hammock from! Bring your own shade because there isn’t much shade available at the campground but the view is beautiful and the river is amazing. Sometimes the River is really low, but you can fish right off your camp site for trout! You can also rent tubes from the store and tube down the River when it’s high. There are lots of season long campers, but the water and electric only sites tend to be available. Book early, because it sells out!

Nice place - nice people

We stopped for the night here. Campsites right along the River. Beautiful views and clean bathrooms. The guy at check in and check out was super accommodating.

Beautiful river and fun for kids

They have a very nice playground area and the beach access by the river was also very nice. Very well maintained campground. They do charge $5 each to use the pool which I thought was odd but they had a lifeguard on duty so that’s likely the reason. Overall it was a very nice place and we would definitely go back. We went to downtown Burnsville and were pleasantly surprised. It had restaurants, a cute downtown, and neat playground called kid mountain.
