Within Westcott Beach State Park, this NYS Office of Parks campground operates seasonally from May through September along Lake Ontario's shoreline. The campground features both lakeside sites with sunset views and an elevated electric loop across the road from the main park area. Sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections.
Campers report that lakeside sites fill quickly and require early reservations, while the hillside electric loop offers more spacious sites with well-maintained restroom facilities and a children's playground. The beach area draws day visitors and can become crowded during peak season. Those seeking camping near Sackets Harbor will find this location provides direct lake access for swimming and fishing activities.
