This place is the best

I’ve been camping here since I was a kid. This will forever be my favorite place. If I could live here I would. It’s peaceful and beautiful. There’s not a bad site here. They are all big, private and beautiful.

First time but not the last

What a great campground! Small, beautifully kept and the staff is absolutely amazing. The fishing is great, the amenities are very clean and there is not a bad site in the park.

Hidden Gem

Great place, low key camping with power. Nice spacious lots. Gravel sites help keep the camper clean and keeps the mud down. Convenient location to explore the Finger Lakes. 30-40 minutes from Watkins Glen, Ithaca and Corning.

Used to stay as a kid

Administered by Chemung county. Fills up very fast. No fuel powered boats. Nice swimming area. Open for winter recreation too.

Nice small day area

This campground has a nice small beach area with sand for the kids. Water is very shallow however, so not the best place for swimming for older kids and there is no pool, but there are life guards and plenty of depth for young kids. There is also a newer and good sized playground in the day visit area. Campsites are mostly all on gravel so make sure you bring air mattresses or lots of padding if you will be in a tent. Lots of beautiful hiking areas around the decent sized lake as well as fishing. Multiple picnic areas scattered throughout allow you many options of scenery/shade/convenience while you cook and eat. Theres also a small snack shop for refreshments and snacks. Overall my family loves a day visit to park station and the camping is equally enjoyable.

Great, easy place for locals

It's a classic, a staple in my childhood experiences. Sandy beach, man-made lake with enough space to swim, and boating to explore. Nice trail around the lake to walk or bike with a little difficulty. Lots of shady areas, plenty of grills and picnic tables. Snack shack is nice. New playground recently built that my little ones love. Sand volleyball. Not too far from stores and such. I give it 4 stars and say it's for locals because if you're not from around here, just go somewhere better like Watkins or Ithaca. But it's a great stay if you're not looking for the wow factor.
