SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Havana Glen Park, managed by the Town of Montour, NY, holds one of the more compact campgrounds in the Finger Lakes region. Around 15 to 20 wooded sites spread across the small park without feeling crowded, and electric hookups make the spot workable for RV campers as well as tent setups. Cell service is available, and the campground provides drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables, and ADA-accessible facilities.

The main draw is a short but step-heavy trail leading to a waterfall and swim area in a gorge typical of the Finger Lakes landscape. Reviewers consistently flag the waterfall hike and swimming hole as the reason to visit, particularly on hot days. The park also includes a playground, a baseball field, and a gaga ball area, which makes it a reasonable fit for families with younger kids. Dan N. notes the campground is a "tiny park so you likely need to fill your time elsewhere," which is worth keeping in mind for longer stays.

The surrounding area gives campers additional options. Watkins Glen State Park Campground is a larger alternative in the region, and Waterfall Creek sits close by for those comparing nearby sites. Havana Glen tends to function well as a short stop or a fallback when other campgrounds near camping near Montour Falls fill up. Reservations are available, and booking ahead is advisable during summer weekends when the swim area draws local visitors.

Small, Quaint near Waterfalls

I've been here several times to hike to the waterfall or for parties. It's quite small with about 15-20 sites, but they aren't right on top of each other either. Great place for young families sure to the playground, short hike to the falls, bathrooms, pavilions, and very close to Seneca Lake and the Finger Lakes Trail and the Catherine Valley Trail.

Eagle Cliff waterfall

Short trail with lots of steps to a lovely waterfall in a typical Finger Lakes kind of gorge. Camp sites wooded and short walk from good views. Tiny park so you likely need to fill your time elsewhere. Good place to go if the other campsites near Watkins Glen are filled.
