Hidden Gem

Great place, low key camping with power. Nice spacious lots. Gravel sites help keep the camper clean and keeps the mud down. Convenient location to explore the Finger Lakes. 30-40 minutes from Watkins Glen, Ithaca and Corning.

great time in VT

First time at a US Army Corp of Engineers campground this past week. Great campground nestled between the Winhall river and west river. Super clean facilities and grounds. Spent the week in the river exploring and relaxing. They had just had a series of rainstorms before we arrived so the river was able to be tubed down for a couple days toward the end of the trip we were t able to. Short drive into town to get supplies if need be. plenty of hiking and biking in the area. would definitely come back.

Love this place

We cut our teeth as a camping family here. We visited friends who have been camping here for years and we went for it the next year. great spacious sites. Just a shirt walk to potable water or a bathroom from any site. the on the water sites are the best and everyone knows it. Its like the NFL draft to get the site you want months in advance. Woke up daily to bald eagle right in front of site. great place to paddle and fish. and if it rains town isnt that far away.

first time at a KOA

I honestly wasn’t sure how it would be becauaebefore this we had only boondocked our old camper. And we loved the peacefulness of that experience. This type of placeis a whole other animal. That being said this is agreat spot for families. plenty of on site activities to keep the kids occupied while the grown ups relax. ie. pool, mini golf, and catch and release pond to name a few. Along well stocked general store with just about anything you need
