Good to visit Adirondacks

We stayed here while exploring the Adirondacks and Lake Placid. It was a fairly priced and good place to stay, though it did rain most of our time there. There are water spigots and limited generator hours, but we didn't run it except to make coffee. The office staff are very friendly, and there are great recycling options. Our site was kind of a bare patch of grass, though it worked for us.

Near Lake Placid

Ok basecamp near High Peaks area to wash the stink off you and relax before returning to civilization. Simple sites, clean, some are really private. No lake or stream on site so not the pick of the litter for this area, but still wooded and beautiful.
