Lillian brook campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Swimming in Lillian Brook is cold, a fact worth knowing before you plan a dip in the rock pool beside camp. This free, hike-in site in the High Peaks Wilderness sits directly alongside the brook, where water runs clear enough to collect with a filter or purification tablets. A lean-to is on-site. The campground sees use as part of the Dix Mountain loop, making it a practical overnight stop for those covering that route. Campers exploring campgrounds near High Peaks Wilderness will find this one among the more water-accessible options in the area. Drinking water and toilets are available, pets are welcome, and there is no fee to stay.

Great campground!

Great campground when doing the DIX loop.

I prefer it to the slide campground.

You have the Lillian brook flowing right next to it.

Clear water with big rock pool to swim in (COLD)

You can collect the water but use a filter or tabs to be safe.

I've camped there twice.

There's also a Lean-to.
