Rough access roads lead to El Caso Throwdown Campground, a US Forest Service site positioned near the shores of Quemado Lake in Apache National Forest. The campground operates under a no-pets policy, distinguishing it from other camping near Apache National Forest in the area.
Located less than a mile from El Caso I-IV Campground, this established campground provides lake access for anglers and paddlers. The challenging road conditions require vehicles capable of handling uneven terrain, making it less suitable for low-clearance cars or large RVs.
