Rest and relax

Nice place with friendly people. Its Gravel parking and very level. Office, Bathroom and showers are very clean. Also has laundry room ect... this page has been updated in awhile. So mite wanna call for rates.

Good place to spend the night

It is a handy they should spend the night, just off the interstate but it is also not very far from the railroad tracks so you get interstate and train noise. I paid $35 for one night for 50 amp service

Great Overnight Stay

The campground is conveniently located off I40 and is very reasonable priced for full hookups. The campground is clean and the office staff were very nice.

Easy and close

Inexpensive and nice sites with full hookup. Just here for 1 night. Freeway is close with road noise.

Cheap, but…

The actual campground seems fine. It’s mostly a gravel parking lot with hook-ups. They have a little dog run area that was clean and okay. It’s a couple of minutes off the highway, so it’s convenient for an overnight. The area is a high crime zone, but we didn’t see anyone acting sketchy.

I think the campground was fine for one night. I doubt I’d stay again, but only because the area is a bit creepy.

Excellent place to stay

We stayed at the Bar S campground for a couple weeks while work in the area. Very low priced with amazing wifi and easy to access and use hookups. Spots are right next to each other but it’s a super quiet and safe campground. It has trees throughout so you don’t feel like you’re in the dessert. Propane services are very low cost nearby about 5 min away.
