Safety Hazards. Unsupervised, Underage Children Racing Golf Carts.

My experience was the management of Pine Haven RV Campground in Cape May Courthouse, NJ expect employees to cut safety corners and ignore hazards. Hazards brought to the attention of management seem to fall on deaf ears until an injury occurs. I personally witnessed a young child having the skin burnt off her buttocks from a slide on the playground that was hot enough to cause burns requiring ER treatment and management did NOT remove this hazard- which is just one example. Many trees are hazards waiting to fall and even when reported are not addressed promptly. Several trees fell causing damage to property the summer I was there, and could have easily caused someone physical injury but hey- removing trees is costly. Underage, unsupervised children recklessly drive the golf carts with one driving a golf cart into the campground pond while parents are partying and getting drunk. Warnings from management to ban these guests from the campground are empty threats and go unheeded as nothing seems to be done to correct the issue and it happens over& over with the same guests. On-site security is laughable. Security people have formed friendships with guests, hang out with guests, and consistently stand by as campground rules are violated over& over again by the same people.
