Free and hike-in only, Cabot Cabin sits within White Mountain National Forest and requires carrying in all water since no reliable source exists on site. The cabin sleeps up to eight on four large bunk platforms with foam mattresses, though a sleeping pad is worth bringing. A composting toilet is available outside. Hikers working through pet-friendly camping near White Mountain National Forest will find the cabin a functional base for reaching Mount Cabot's summit, a short climb from the front porch lookout.
