Great pit stop

Stayed here for a wedding. They sites were clean and everyone was friendly. The pool and bathrooms are clean and very nice! Quiet campground, we were there during the fall. Loved our grassy site!

Within walking distance to Santas Village. Would highly recommend Waterwheel for breakfast/brunch!

Makes Santa’s Village more affordable

We initially stayed at Lantern campground to save some money, since we wanted to go to Santa’s village, but found that it’s a very nice campground. it has all of the conveniences a family would need. Craft time, petting zoo, campfire smore and story time, there is no privacy but plenty of sites, so it’s available when when you need a spot. The pools are great and it’s really easy to cross the street and go to Santa’s village, or walk back across when the kiddos are overstimulated for a little break.

Family-oriented, clean space

The section for campers is huge and the section for tents is significantly smaller, essentially an open field with almost no privacy for the tent sites. In general, the campground is immaculate from the general store to the bathrooms to the pools. It's perfect for families, as they have many kids activities planned throughout the week. That being said, there's constantly children running around yelling and walking right through your campsite with no care in the world.

Perfect with kids!

So let’s be upfront, this campground is across the road from Santa’s Village... and so- it is full of kids. Don’t expect the quiet peaceful retreat some campgrounds offer.

With this in mind- WE LOVE THIS CAMPGROUND. My wife and I camp A LOT. This had the nicest grounds, cleanest facilities, and most visible staff of nearly any campground we have visited. Everyone is very friendly and truly enjoying their stay. This is the perfect family spot while enjoying the surrounding area.

In our opinion this is not a stay at your site/ on-grounds type of campground. There is much to do around you, and while there are some activities on site most people are there for activities off site.

Fantastic!

Thos campground is clean and beautifully maintained. The staff is helpful and the location is wonderful, especially if you have kids. It's near many hiking trails and walking distance to Santa's Village. There are two pools that each offer something different. Plenty of activities and opportunities to socialize with other campers!
