Overview
There are 26 non-reservable wooded sites with gravel pads, fire rings, and picnic tables. A self-service pay system collects the fees on a first come, first serve basis.__ TIPS: * Allow no more than 8 people and 2 vehicles per site and keep all equipment (including tents, tables and motor vehicles) on the graveled area. This will minimize compaction, allow low vegetation to grow, and enhance privacy between sites. * Build all fires in the ring provided. ___Only YOU can prevent forest fires,___ says Smoky Bear. This will eliminate unsightly charcoal spots that soil camping equipment and clothing. * Observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM. Turn off audio devices during these times and play them at a reasonable volume at all other times. See the bulletin board for the rules about operating generators. * Gather only dead and down firewood.__

Great time in New Hampshire
As a camper with a pop up we were put on a easy access spot all of the people who work there could not have been more helpful and Knowledgeable of things to do in the area Also they show you or spot and they have wood delivery. Great place for kids a lot of Activities
clean and quiet
Another well-maintained WMNF campground. While not too far off the road, it was very quiet. Sites were all cleaned, even though we arrived on Labor Day and it appeared most sites had just been vacated. No cell service, however the lady in the site across had one of those cell extenders and said she had 2 bars of 4G service. Oh, and the sites are definitely reserveable.
Large sites close to many hikes
This past week we stayed here as a family on site #9. Had 2 cars and a dog. Can’t beat the price at $20 a night. Some spots are first come first serve, others you can reserve in advance. We had quite the setup 2 tents , camping hammock, and a pop up tent to cover the picnic table. We were very cozy in this site with 4 people and our dog. The only downside I would say is this site is very shaded. I think throughout there was only a few sites that stayed in the sun throughout the later afternoon. So it does get a little chilly. Sites are relatively spread out so they do offer some privacy and you don’t feel too close to the neighbors. Vault toilets and a pump for water every so often. Basic amenities but it was perfect for us and relatively close to all the hikes we wanted to do. Definitely would come back.
