High in the Toiyabe National Forest, Peavine Creek Campground sits alongside a creek drainage system accessible via rough forest roads. The US Forest Service operates this drive-in facility from May through October, accommodating RVs up to 35 feet with basic toilet facilities and pet-friendly policies.
Recent storm damage has forced temporary closure due to hazardous trees throughout the camping area. Visitors should contact the nearest ranger station before planning trips, as reopening depends on completing extensive tree removal and safety assessments. The Peavine Campground provides another option less than a mile away for those exploring this remote section of central Nevada's high country.
