Horrible Experience.

Would NOT RECOMMEND!! Had a very unpleasant stay here with my granddaughter. We came to visit my sister, her husband and my niece. Two of my sister's 40lb propane tanks were stolen, supposedly after they were filled with propane from this RV park. They reported to the staff the tanks where missing and possibly mistakenly taken. The staff told my sister to walk around and look to see if they spotted their tanks. My sister and her husband did so, but didn't see their tanks, so they went back to there trailer. A few minutes went by and 6' tall male employee came up, fast, on a quad with a buddy of his. He was VERY aggressive, extremely rude and argumentative. He even told my sister they stole their own tanks to avoid paying the propane bill! My granddaughter and I were too scared to even stay in our trailer and stayed in my sister's. Not only was there a thief on the loose, but now the staff at the RV park were coming at my brother in law, sister and escalating a very minor situation. All that man wanted was his money for the propane! Didn't once ask about my sister's stolen tanks! That staff member then called the Sheriffs department claiming a fight in progress. This aggressive staff member then claimed to be buddies with the sheriff's and said he's a volunteer fire fighter, to attempt to intimidate. My brother in law is a disabled vet from Iraq and he did his best to de-escalate the situation and I'm thankful. Four sheriff's showed up over this. I felt safe once they showed up and I told them so. This RV park didn't give a damn about the theft, just the propane. Trashy RV Park, I'll never go back. The showers and bathrooms where out of service as well. Dog poop from previous campers was all over. Just gross. Wi-Fi without internet FYI.

Friendly, quite, next to freeway

Spent a week here. Trees are in a lot of the spaces, which is nice to see and have in this part of Nevada. A lot of locals here because of the work in Elko. The staff was very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Restrooms, laundry, 30 and 50 amp services, propane, sewer, and water. We have a 37' Class A, fit in nicely. Not a lot to do, Sinclare gas station with a small grill is not far away. Everything else is in Elko. All in all a nice stay.

Good spot for an overnight !

We felt very lucky to have been able to get a spot here after all the campgrounds in Elko were full and we had an overheating truck. Elko RV Park at Ryndon may not look like much, but the staff and permanent residents make it a gem! Mae, who works in the office, introduced us to a mechanic who lives there. He worked for hours on our truck and got us back on the road. I would highly recommend this campground as a stopover!
