Desert Creek Campground sits in a volcanic, willow-lined canyon within Toiyabe National Forest, accessed by a rock-cobbled dirt road that also runs directly alongside most campsites. Spots are cramped and close together, with Desert Creek just across the trail. Pit toilets are on-site, along with picnic tables and metal fire rings. The RV size limit is 10 feet. Campers heading toward Mt. Patterson or Bridgeport may find better-suited dispersed sites farther up the route; this one works best as a last-resort overnight stop.
