Basecamp for exploring

This is BLM land and we did not stay at the campground but on a level spot a few miles away.  The camp has nice sites and shade structures.  We saw quite a few wild horses too!  There is a lot of stuff to explore in this area, especially if you have a 4x4 or SxS.  Very dark area so lots of stars. …

Great spot for mountain biking and off roading

It’s operated by BLM so it off grid and dispersed. Make sure you bring supplies. If you bike or have an off-road vehicle it’s a perfect spot.

Travel west from Caliente, Nevada on US Highway 93 for 16 miles until reaching North Poleline Road. Take North Poleline Road northeast approximately 3 miles. At the Silver State Trailhead sign turn east and travel .5 miles to the trailhead.
