Riverside Park

Riverside Park operates as a municipal campground along the Elkhorn River in Neligh, providing drive-in access for RVs up to 40 feet with full hookups. The grass sites accommodate various rig sizes, though some are positioned on slopes that require leveling adjustments. Campers park directly on the grass with pull-through options available throughout the grounds.

The river runs alongside the camping area, creating access to sandbars for evening activities. Sites include 50-amp electric and water hookups, with a dump station positioned at the park exit. The facility provides restrooms with showers, though cleanliness varies according to visitor reports. Some highway noise carries through the area, but most campers find it manageable during overnight stays.

The campground operates within Neligh's town limits, placing restaurants and services within walking distance. A drive-in movie theater sits nearby along the highway for evening entertainment. Gregg B. notes the facility offers "level sites" and "clean restroom and shower" for $15-20 per night. Sites feature varying amounts of natural shade, with spacing that provides room between camping units.

Campers seeking different amenities can find Fred Penn Park less than a mile west for an alternative municipal camping experience.

Visitors often highlighted the spacious, level grass sites and good hookups at reasonable rates. Many appreciated the clean facilities, though recent reviews noted restroom cleanliness declined. Quiet setting with minor highway noise.

Great Campground

Easy hook up, many sites with shade $20 per night. There is a shower and flush toilets but not very clean! That’s why only four stars!

Unexpected surprise!

Level sites. Will accommodate rigs of all sizes. 50amp electric. Water hook up. Dump station. All for $15 per night. Fairly quiet, some highway noise but not bad. Clean restroom and shower. Would stay here again.

Fun place to stay

I camped in the park for a friend's wedding. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. You park in the grass. Pull through is an option. Bathrooms were clean and close by. The river runs by so we had a fun night out on a sand bar. It's in town which has several restaurant choices. We didn't get to go, but will return to check out the drive in movie theatre just down the Hyway.

Nice RV Sites

This is a nice city park with numerous site with electric and water hookup, dump station is located on you way out of the park. The sites are grass and some of them are on some slopes. It took a few moves to get leveled out.

Neat Park

We stopped on our way to South Dakota this summer and were surprised to find these Rv sites at the municipal park. Our site was in the grass, there was a neat little bridge and the park was well kept. Plenty of room between sites and reasonably priced. Great place to stop over.
