Fishing, paddling, and water views draw campers to Bloomfield, a first-come, first-served campground within camping near Lewis And Clark Recreation Area on the Nebraska side of Lewis and Clark Lake. The Army Corps of Engineers manages the site, which has 8 basic tent sites at $15 per night and 12 electric RV hookups at $30. Mature trees provide shade across the sites, and several spots sit close enough to the water to hear it. A boat ramp, fishing dock, and dump station are on-site. Note that zebra mussels have been documented in Lewis and Clark Lake since 2014, so cleaning watercraft and gear before leaving is required. Miller Creek - Lewis and Clark SRA lies about a mile to the southwest for campers wanting a nearby alternative.
