Superior Area

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing and swimming access on the Clark Fork River gives Superior Area a practical draw for water-focused campers in Lolo National Forest. Pets are not permitted. The campground sits close to Interstate 90, and train tracks run along the opposite bank, meaning horn blasts and road noise are consistent, not occasional. Campers who arrive late and need a functional overnight stop will find it serviceable. 2 Mile Turn Off Dispersed Camp is less than a mile east for those wanting a quieter, less structured option.

Not quiet

If arriving late and tired, it works. It is on the Clark’s Fork river which is beautiful. The campground is very nice, however, lots of interstate road noise and train tracks across the river with with frequent train traffic and horn blasts due to intersecting road.
