Friendly, helpful staff and only 10 miles from West Glacier
We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 14 for 3 days in mid August. Our site was not very level front to back and side to side, and though we got close, we couldn’t get fully level. The sites across the back(11-16) seem roomier and more offset than the rest. The campground is well maintained, quiet and heavily wooded, although there is a fair bit of road noise from US-2. At least on sites 11-16, pull-throughs, the hookups are fairly close to the front of the site. Some of the interior roads go in odd directions and can get a bit confusing at times. They also had live music on the lawn the night we arrived, a Wednesday. AT&T coverage good, with 2-3 bars of LTE and speeds up to 7 MB/s, but throughput did fluctuate a bit. The CG has WiFi, but we could never get more than about 20 KB/s, which is effectively useless. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.
