Beaverhead National Forest's East Creek Campground sits a few miles outside Lima on a gravel road that past visitors have navigated without trouble in a standard sedan. The campground has three or four sites, two vault toilets, picnic tables with fire rings, and creek access at the base of the camping area. Bring all your own water. The hand pump on-site has not been reliably functional, and reviewers consistently flag this. Sites see very few visitors, and views face the Lima Peaks. Small rigs up to 16 feet can fit; tent campers have the easier time here.
