Mid-October

This was the only campground open in late season on Seeley Lake. Not many people. So, very quiet. Some sites are wide open with very little shelter or shade, others are nicely tucked into groves of trees. Almost all sites are angled to back an RV into. Many could handle 30 foot rigs easily. Really strong Verizon signal

Disappointed - closed for the season

Looks like a great spot, however on Oct 9th, camping here is closed. Had a lovely picnic lunch at the day use site.

Early Oct

Only the Group Camping section was open at this time of year. No water. No trash. So pack it in, pack it out. The six group sites are right next to the river and that sound is very pleasant. Huge picnic tables and large fire pit with three built in cooking grates.

Right off the highway

Early Oct and very few in campground. Vault toilets and trash available, but no water. There is traffic noise, but otherwise quite nice. I choose a hilltop site with a lovely tree sheltered view of the lake.

Early Oct

Right on the river. Caution on approach road, ruts and mud potential. Here on a Monday, but has the look of partyville on the weekends. Tables are a bit warn and fire rings are well used.

Late season

Stayed here during its primitive status. For a vault toilet it was nice, but only one available for the 30 sites open. Only one for both men and women, so very busy. This had enough trees and bushes you did see anybody else.

End of the season

Just enough space among the trees to feel by yourself. There is some railroad noise and road construction noise at night. Facilities are decent. No wood gathering for fires. So bring own or pay $9 per bundle.

Nobody there

Friday night and not a soul in sight. Like other reviews- very open. Staying on the outside provides better privacy, but with no one there - lots of privacy.

Quick stop

A rest stop where you can actually spend the night. No fire rings, but a park like atmosphere. Road noise disappears at night.

Creekside

Camping on a Thursday in Sept. many sites available. Picnic table, fire ring and the peaceful sound of the creek flowing by!!! Sounds like weekends this place fills up with reservations. Some water. Firewood at camp host until the 25th.

Meadow Lake

Very open! Found a site tucked in from the wind. Watched a lovely thunder storm roll through last night. Price is right - free.

Great spot

This site is about 2.5 miles off Highway 89. Very private. Lots of wood can be gathered in surrounding area. At dusk elk were bugling near campsite!! Biggest negative is that the site is not near the vault toilet at the base of the campground, so you’ll need to dig a hole or drive to the bottom.

Almost perfect

The campground is well maintained. Camphosts are efficient and helpful. Might be the nice vault toilet I have ever seen!! Great fishing around the bend from the campground. Only negative is the road noise, but that is a location issue and can’t be fixed!!
