Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest holds this small, 11-site drive-in campground north of Butte, open from Memorial Day through mid-September. No cell service reaches the campground. The single water pump sits in the adjacent day use area, so campers should drive over to fill containers rather than carry them from the sites. Firewood is scarce on the ground here, including small kindling, so bring your own supply. At $5 per night with vault toilets, bear-proof bins, and picnic tables at each site, the fee-to-amenity ratio is notably low for a Forest Service campground.
