Deerlodge National Forest's Orofino Campground splits across two sections: a main loop with roughly 10 numbered sites and a second area across the road holding two large family or group sites alongside a day-use pavilion. The main loop has a hand pump for drinking water, while vault toilets serve both sections. Sites are shaded by large conifers, though level tent spots can be hard to find. A gravel and dirt washboard road leads in, and higher ground clearance helps, though four-wheel drive is not required. RVs are limited to 22 feet. The campground sees light use. Whitehouse is another option in the forest for campers wanting a different setup.
