Wildlife viewing and fishing draw campers to this BLM-managed site in northeastern Montana, set within the Burnt Lodge Wilderness Study Area near Glasgow. The area sits within places to camp near BLM Land — Glasgow Field Office, where open rangeland and WSA designation shape what's allowed on the ground. Fees apply, though pricing varies. Nearby, BLM Troika Reservoir lies roughly 8.7 miles east and provides another access point for anglers and wildlife enthusiasts. The campground is open year-round, but northeastern Montana winters are severe. Come prepared with water, supplies, and cold-weather gear if visiting outside summer months.
