This roadside pullout serves as emergency overnight parking with a helpful natural spring for water. Campers regularly cited noise from highway traffic and other visitors as major drawbacks, though it provides adequate space for various vehicles when traditional campgrounds aren't available.

Sketchy…not worth it.

Pulled in with our van for the night but even on a weekday it was scary. Partiers, lots of noisy traffic, scary individuals ( hate to generalize but…Methheads?). Would pass it up.

Big Roadside Lot

This is just a big pullout along side US2. No amenities. There is a natural water source to fill jugs, or maybe your camper tanks if you have a pump

Good overnight parking in your car

No bathrooms or anything else. It does have a freshwater spring that has the best water in MT. Lots of people stop just for the water. It's right next to Flathead River and there is a small walk to reach the river bank, but you can swim there. Safe to sleep in your car but during the summer there is lots of traffic. Meet some really cool people tho.

12 Miles from Glacier NP

This is a rest area right off the 2 on the south side of the road. It saved us at 12:30 midnight after a day in Glacier National Park that was intended to be an overnight in one of the park campgrounds. All the campgrounds were closed due to COVID. We caught some shut eye in the car until dawn. There were at least 6 other vehicles — from cars to vans to RVs. It’s not a vacation destination — it’s a bail out when the vacation takes a sharp detour, but the river IS right across the highway and it’s lovely and accessible.
