Fishing and paddling draw campers to Bear Trap North, where sites run along the Madison River north of Red Mountain Campground. Sites are dispersed along the gravel road past the bridge, with some shaded by riverside vegetation and others fully exposed. It's first-come, first-served. The fee station accepts cash, check, or card. At $15 a night with a 35-foot RV limit, the campground also permits pets and generators.
