Whitewater RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Whitewater RV Park, a privately operated RV park in Mountain View, Arkansas, open from mid-March through the first week of November. Nightly rates run $20 to $32, and the park accommodates rigs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. Mature trees provide shade across the sites, which reviewers consistently describe as level with concrete pads and tables. Fire rings are available on request.

The park sits roughly a quarter mile from Mountain View's courthouse square, close enough to walk, though reviewers note the route runs uphill. That proximity is a practical draw: the square hosts regular Ozark folk music sessions during the season, and the Ozark Folk Center State Park Cabins are also within easy reach. Multiple reviewers flag the park as quiet at night, even during a packed Memorial Day weekend. The bathhouse uses keypad locks, which several guests appreciated, and cleanliness of both the facilities and the grounds comes up repeatedly in reviews.

WiFi is included, with a higher-speed option available for an additional fee. As one reviewer put it, "the park was packed, but very quiet at night." A city park sits adjacent to the property, useful for dog walks. Campers looking at campgrounds around Mountain View will find this one among the most walkable to town. Weekly and monthly rates are available, and a stay-six-get-one-free policy applies, so longer trips can reduce the per-night cost considerably.

No frills Downhome

Mountain View is a great small town in the Arkansas Ozarks. This is not the place to come if you have to be entertained but can make your own fun or settle back and relax. Whitewater RV Park sounds exciting, high speed but no. Time to kickback, read a book, head to the square and listen to the ozark mountain music they are famous for. You can find all kinds of things to do and a place to stay is at Whitewater RV Park on a quiet town street not that far off from the court square. Free WiFi and if you pay extra you can get high speed wireless. Cable tv, pull through sites, dump station, full hook ups, laundry, shower house, flush toilets. This park has mature trees with lots of shade. It is located walking distance from the courthouse which is in the middle of the square. Granted it is UP the hill but it makes for a nice walk. In the square during the season you will often find locals and visitors picking and singing. It is a treat and free for the enjoyment. Mountain View also has one of the few remaining Drive In movie theaters. Check this place out for the weekly and monthly rates. Stay six nights and get seventh one free. For a small town Mountain View has so much to offer it’s guests. It brings our minds to days gone be. Weekends will find pickers on the square or concerts at Ozark Folk Center. Few campgrounds have pools but you can find a creek to dip your toes in. You have your choice of stand up paddle board canoe kayak Loco Ropes mountain biking hiking antiquing movie’s trail rides fishing I think you have the idea. MOVIES. Mountain View has a movie theater and one of the few drive in theaters left in th USA. Both offer first run movies.
Have fun. Leave No Trace. Better than you found it.

Nice park! We will be back!

We were here during a very busy time on Memorial day. The park was packed, but very quiet at night. Owners are friendly and accomodating. Bath house is clean, with number pad locks on the doors so only guests can use. The town square is only 1/4 mile away. A nice park for walking is next door. They also have laundry facilities and great Wifi! What’s not to love?

Nice get-a-way in the Ozarks

This is a nice RV park situated perfectly near the downtown Mountain View Area and the Ozark Folk Center State Park. It is a small, quiet park with lots of spots for gathering in groups. RV sites are level, have concrete pad and tables. You can request a fire ring. There is a bathhouse, but we didn’t use it. Very clean, lots of trees, and WiFi!
