Timber Run Camp Ground

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. August and September, 2021. The park is clean and well maintained. They put in a new swimming pool in this past summer. I did not try it but it looked nice. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice place but rules are a joke

We stopped for the night on our way to Georgia. Booking was easy and price was average. The property itself is beautiful. Spots are intermingled in the trees and it is spectacular in the morning. The pool is better then most hotels and the giant trampoline looked like it would be my daughters favorite thing if she were with us.

The bad parts of this place was the fact that rules didn't seem to apply. Someone was playing loud music till at least 1130pm when we went to bed. We also witnessed dogs being left outside unattended and barking for 20 minutes straight starting at 735am. The highway is also extremely close and can be heard at all times.

All in all it's a nice place. We would definitely stop here again if we're ever around. But we wouldn't stay long.

If you're cool with the noise check it out!

Micro stay

We just wanted to get away for a night. This place was close and easy to book. We were very pleasantly surprised! Great clean campground- easy hook ups- pleasant staff and close to town. Went to Mary Janes for dinner gotta recommend! Campground Has a trail to a hike around lake. Playground was fun and safe. Lake for fishing. We would definitely go back.

Nice place!

Very well kept and clean campground. Great big trees, very shaded, great store. Decorated for Halloween and very kid friendly. Spots are tight (wouldn't want to be here when the park is full). Nice park for kids, hiking trail and jump pad (trampoline). It is right off from the interstate, so there is some noise.

Nice place, friendly staff but, interstate

This was a great place. Again, amidst the corona pandemic but we were happy to find it. It isn’t what we’re used to, we usually like more remote, isolated, rugged, off the grid type sites (we had just travelled from Utah where we spent 15 straight days in the desert on the rim of a canyon and the end of a dirt road and never saw a person other than two raven friends) but, it was nice. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the bathrooms and camp store were extremely nice. The draw backs for us were how close it was to the interstate, and the fact that it’s just not what we’re used to when camping. This was a hotel to us, basically. It has a pool, playgrounds, a pond, and some tiny home type cabins that look like fun. For us, it’s a good place to stop while traveling...

Cute campground

Not the best views or nature scenes, but a nice campground and well kept. Very small sites. Good pricing.

One of the best

We love, love, love this campground. Close to home. Extra clean. Friendly staff. Lots of trees. Drive Through. Easy access off the interstate. Town close by, and a Walmart. Mary J's close by in town (a great little restaurant) All the things we like.
