Within Sardis Lake's protected waters, Pats Bluff operates as a US Army Corps of Engineers campground with 14 sites spread across forested and open terrain. The campground provides both electric and water hookups, with recent sewer additions to upper sites creating full-hookup options for RVs up to 50 amps.
Concrete pads accommodate rigs of various sizes, and sites toward the lake end offer water views. The single bathhouse serves the entire campground, requiring longer walks from some sites. A boat ramp sits close by for water access, though reviews note maintenance issues with the dump station due to gravel storage blocking access. Site spacing prevents crowding, and the location stays relatively quiet during off-peak periods.
"Bathhouse was clean and showers worked great," reports Rick G., noting the spacious concrete pads. The campground accepts reservations and allows pets. Verizon cell coverage runs fair to moderate. A Dollar General sits a few miles away for supplies, and the area provides shoreline hiking opportunities, though litter accumulates along some sections of the lake edge.
For a different experience, Clear Creek - Sardis Lake lies 1.4 miles east with alternative site configurations.
