Indian Mound Campground

With full hookups and sites accommodating RVs up to 50 feet, Indian Mound Campground provides straightforward amenities for overnight travelers. The drive-through sites include electric, water, and sewer connections, plus access to restrooms with hot water showers and WiFi throughout the property.

Located off a side road from Highway 82, the campground operates as a mix of transient and longer-term sites. Site 9 sits closest to the entrance and adjacent highway, where road noise diminishes after 10 PM according to recent visitors. Staff provides site guidance during check-in, and the facility maintains clean restroom facilities decorated with Mississippi State University themes. For a different experience, Belaire RV Park offers another option one mile east.

Sparkling in Starkville

While visiting a beloved retired faculty member of Mississippi State, we were grateful to find this campground with The Dyrt for one night. A tremendous value due to the sparkling clean condition, kindness of staff, and abundant amenities for an active retired couple. We parked #9 (level drive-thru) closest to the entrance and adjacent Highway 82. The Highway was not too distracting after 10 PM. Had a very restful night and up early the next day ready to enjoy the next leg of our sojourn throughout the south. The video is of the super Bulldog fan restroom.

Good stop for a night

This campground is tucked away off a side road from highway! It’s a pretty low key campground with more permanent homes. The spots are close together and not a lot of privacy but we were just passing through for the night so it was fine for us! Close to the town where MSU is!

They had 2 showers that had hot water, no laundry

The lady who checked us in was nice and showed us to our spot!
