Great Area! Lake is clear and looks like very good fishing. Does not have a boat launch. There are three campsites that are decently big and you could fit two-three cars. Has a nice 2 1/2 mile hike around the lake
Well maintained and clean site. Owners were friendly.
What a great spot! Quiet and comfortable, and when I called to confirm our spot (we were running late) the site owner was super friendly. The site was well maintained and easy to find even when we arrived after dark. Definitely coming back!!
Spacious, beautiful overlook of Lake superior. The wind off the lake is chilly so bring layers. Firewood is $7, Firestarter are $5. Ppl very friendly and after 10 pm it is quiet. 10/10 would come again
Burlington Bay Campground was clean. The shower house by the playground was clean and new. The playground seemed fairly new and the kids loved playing on it. Walking on the beach lead to a nice City trail. The kids loved climbing all over the rock formations and finding new rocks.
Pulled over here for a quick stay. It is close to the freeway is about it. Not really what I would be looking for, for an extended stay. It was fine for an easy come and go. Facilities were clean.
Mosquitos were bad run back to the twin cities !
Wanoka is a quiet campground just off the Hwy 2. It has a nice little trout pond and is a good place to teach the younger kids fishing skills. It is however not ideal for young ones who like to play as there is no playground.
Great little camping spot close to lake Superior shores Hop skip and a jump excellent ATV riding
When we first pulled into the campground, we were somewhat concerned - everyone seemed to be parked on top of each other but after we backed in & got settled in, we were pleasantly surprised. The sites are spacious. We were along the wood side and had a lot of space to roam & it felt…
This is my favorite campground for a getaway of a few days. It's less than an hour from home, with great treed sites, a river with tumbling waterfalls, and a covered bridge.
The sites are all non-electric. We plan to conserve the electricity so we can stretch the batteries with out using the…
We stayed during a busy summer season and it was beautiful. We hiked a number of trails to get to water falls that cooled us. Access was good but traffic and parking was busy depending on destination.
Any time on the North Shore is a great time! A lot to do and see. Clean restrooms and showers. The sites are a little close and not much privacy, but the view is awesome.

The area is beautiful with a lot to see and do. The camp is clean and for very full this time of year with many campers enjoying the color change on the north shore. Would like a little more forest around me but for a convenient spot I would stay here again in the future. Very clean. As far as…

The couple that runs the campground is the nicest couple and helpful. We travel in a sprinter van and we were able to stay in the “tent” area as we booked late. The other campsite areas were for larger rigs. We actually preferred the tent area as the sites seemed and little more dispersed. The…
