Mosquitos and trouble reserving site

I had to call the reservation.gov phone line because the website would not allow me to reserve a site for that night, even though it was available. The bathrooms are good, but they are far away from the tent site. People mostly drive up to the good bathroom. Lots of mosquitos no matter what time of…

A quiet place to rest

The trail is a beginner level trail. A couple uphills, but nothing too bad. The campsite is basic. A log to sit on, a fire ring, and spots for 2 or 3 tents. The campsite overlooks a lake. Water is weedy. There is a little trail that brings you down to the lake.

Great Place along the river

I stayed here with my family over the weekend. It was located right on the river. This was a great campsite for the 7 of us! Planning on going back a few times this summer!

Nice place to chill out

Little hard to find. It is on Stony Point Camp Road NW. It is 13 miles NE of Walker, MN on Leech Lake. Very nice campground. Electricity, dump station, nice showers, water, boat landing and fish cleaning shed. Be careful with water as a lot of the faucets are not potable. Just a few potable and…

Clean and quiet

We stayed just one night on our way across country. It was mid-week so very quiet and not packed full. The majority of the sites are open and level but not much shade or privacy to be had. The check-in lady was pleasant and accommodating and we were escorted to our site by her husband. We used…

Great campground no view of the lake

This is a great campground. The sites are huge with plenty of room between the sites. This is on the east side of leech lake back in the channel so you can't really see the lake. There is a boat ramp to get you on the lake. Firewood can be purchased next door at Tonga. Sites were really clean in…

Meh

We stayed here a couple of nights.  The camp office was nice.  Not much for staple grocery items if you needed a few things.  Bathrooms were well maintained.

The sites were weedy and very close together.  The pool was fine but mini golf course was a disaster, total disrepair.

The…

Tons if fun for all

The mountain biking trails were in great shape and were great for all skill levels. The lake was super clear and the small beach was wonderful. The fishing was productive for small mouth bass and rock bass, but snorkelers told of huge pike in the nearby drop off. The fish meat was speckled in…

Nice Facilities

We spent a lot of time camping without facilities in dispersed campsites, so the Bemidji KOA was a great break from the primitive monotony. We only stayed one night (we were on a fast paced road trip) but would definitely stay again. Definitely more expensive than free, but you get what you pay…
