Clean, amazing staff, great bar & grill!

We loved this campground! We didn’t have a long enough hose for the water hookup, so Darrel (the manager) brought one out immediately and we could keep it all night. All the staff was so nice and welcoming. Campground was so clean and nice trails to walk around. The bar & grill had great food and service. 10/10!

Interesting, growing campground

Large, rambling campground with clean port-a-johns all over the place. Our site backed up to a pond. Clean showers. Would have given a 5 if we didn’t have to pay for our showers. And that there were no coin changers at showers. So we had to go to restaurant to ask them to exchange dollars for quarters. Would have thought $50 a night would include a shower. Sort of far of walk to showers, but others were farther. Friendly staff. We were there June 17 and campground was full. We got a same day site because someone canceled and campground manager called us back.

Perfect campground!!

This campground is perfectly located. The grounds are beautiful and it is connected to a Mt. Bike trail. There is a bar and grill on site with a variety of delicious meals and the best chocolate fudge cake I've ever had. We enjoyed spending a couple of days here during the fall. The fall colors were amazing. We will definitely be back and recommend to all.

Good service

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The sights were a little too close together, and there was no tree separation in our area.

Woodsy!!!

This park has a lot to offer. Nice woodsy spots, plenty of restrooms and showers, and a bar/restaurant!! Tents sports are also really nice. Close to downtown Duluth (10 mins.)

Woodsy and quiet

We love it here. Sites are nice size, with trees. Trees all around. And a bonus — a bar/restaurant. We would come here again for sure

Nice campground

We wanted a weekend away in Duluth and this was a great spot to be close. The campground is really nice. The only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 star is because of the firewood. $8 per bundle for wet wood. We had to go to the gas station to get dry wood. I will stay here again.

Good Location

We spent a weekend here last October & I was pretty happy with the accommodations. I could have firewood delivered right to my site which was a nice convenience. The showers were not free, so that was a little annoying. However, the bathrooms & showers were nice & clean. There is a restaurant there that I was hoping to check out, but didn’t. It looks pretty nice. Great trails to access & the grounds are close enough to also get the whole North Shore experience.
