Loons Point RV Park & Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Water views draw campers to Loons Point RV Park & Campground in Cedarville, Michigan, where sites sit close enough to the shoreline that the outlook over the water is a consistent highlight across reviews. The campground accommodates drive-in, walk-in, and boat-in arrivals, making it accessible to a range of camping styles. Sites are narrow, which is worth factoring in for larger rigs, though full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections are available alongside a dump station and WiFi.

The bathhouse is dated but kept clean, a detail multiple reviewers mention with some emphasis. Rules are enforced, and the campground runs quietly as a result. A small swimming area is on the property, and hikers have trail access nearby. The owners and managers draw consistent praise for their attentiveness and for maintaining the grounds well.

Kathy M. puts it plainly: "Dated bathhouse is very clean." That combination of older infrastructure and careful upkeep is a reasonable summary of what to expect here. Pets are allowed, and reservations are available for those planning ahead. Campers exploring the Upper Peninsula who want to compare options can browse camping near Cedarville before committing to a site. Those wanting a different setup along the same stretch of shoreline might consider Hills Point Resort, located a short distance to the southeast.

Small and cozy

Only stayed a night. Kinda of close together campsites. Seems like the majority have water and electric hook ups.

Great people nice price

We have been coming to Loons Point for 3 summer visits. We have experienced nothing but superior service and support from the people who work here! It's not the fanciest but there's very good value for the price. You can't touch them in the area for a full hook up campground.

Awesome does with great folks

We stayed a week here and during our stay we had a small accident with our toad car... Everyone was very accommodating as our car's radiator was broken and leaking... We were embarrassed to have this issue but the managers were awesome about not letting us feel bad! Water view is incredible

Quiet Gem

This campground was quiet and peaceful. The owners are some of the sweetest I’ve ever met and they keep the campground clean and kept up. There is a small area for swimming and a bathroom house on the property. Loved staying here. Lots of trails nearby.
