Sitting on Deer Isle along the Maine coast, Greenlaw's RV Park & Campground draws campers who want proximity to Stonington's working harbor without paying the crowd premium of busier coastal destinations. The campground runs from May through October and accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups, including electric, water, and sewer. Sites are laid out across two distinct zones: wooded lots with more seclusion and open sites that handle larger rigs with more room to maneuver.
Reviewers consistently note the cleanliness of the bathhouse and laundry facilities. Cell coverage on AT&T has worked well enough for streaming and calls, though the campground's WiFi was unreliable for at least one visitor. Sites are well-spaced, and the upper section of the property gives Starlink users open sightlines toward the sky. Dogs are welcome, and there is room to walk them. The campground is quiet, with no road noise noted by multiple reviewers.
Stonington itself sits about a mile away and provides access to restaurants, a sand beach, and the ferry to Isle au Haut. Dry Cove Cottages is another option in the area for those exploring campsites near Stonington. Kayaking and paddleboarding are available nearby, and Mount Desert Island is roughly an hour's drive.
"Last site on the dead-end road and was very secluded," notes Angela. The campground is a practical fit for RV travelers or tent campers who want full amenities and low activity programming in equal measure.
