"We blew a tire and everywhere was closed, so we had to drive to Shreveport and they let us stay as long as we needed to the next day until we got it fixed."

"Quiet little RV park located in the backyard of a farm. Family owned, well kept and clean. The lots are well spaced and there are no trees. Offers daily, weekly and monthly lots."
"Eagles 🦅 are always around."

"Two great dog parks."
"There are some short trails and an amphitheater is located near the bath house. I try to camp there once a year."
"A taste of the swamps in north Louisiana. Spanish moss clad Bald Cypress trees in a stereotypical Louisiana lake. Two great boat ramps, cabins and picnic tables."
"Lake Bistineau is a great state park park near Shreveport, LA. We stayed 2 nights. The sites are very shady. The park streets and sites are asphalt. Some roads need repaving."

"So much wildlife and no one else around. Beautiful area. There aren’t stores near by so don’t forget anything. One bathroom but was decently clean."
Quiet, clean, nice staff. We were right by the dog park, which the dogs loved!
Clean. Sites are close together. Two great dog parks.
Nice manager .. Park 95% gravel .. has electric 30/50 amp ..water quality good .. has sewer at site .. not much going on .. mostly permanent campers here .. Passport of America site .. I paid a total of $19.24 for the night .. small dog park
My husband evacuated here during hurricane season for a couple of days and I drove up to meet him. We love every KOA we stay in, but this was felt very “homey” - the dog park was a plus and their laundry facilities were very affordable!
We stayed here for one night on our cross country trip. It was clean, well maintained, nice layout and landscaping, great dog park, and friendly service. We had a level pull through with full service with no need to disconnect. Walmart right down the street for replenishing the goods. Great stop over.
We came here for a quick over night stay. Right off interstate by gas stations and food. We were in a pull through spot, which was level, but barely long enough for our truck and 30 ft camper. Full hookups (bring extra long electric cord!), picnic table, showers, cable, dog park, and extra parking area noted. No fires allowed. With Good Sam our spot was 34.00 which was quite reasonable.
Did an extended stay here, 3 months while working in the area. The staff is great and very helpful and friendly. The dog park is nice if you have them. Park is well maintained. There are only 2 reasons I couldn’t give them more than 3 stars, 1) on monthly rate they charge for electric which I get but it continued to go up even though outside temps continued to drop so no need for my A/C units. 2) During the last 4 nights of my stay there were multiple times I heard multiple gun fire in the area.
Lots of in and out traffic. I would recommend if your passing through the area and need to stop for a night or two but not long term.
This is a parish ran park that is very well maintained. Security measures are excellent. The park is shaded and all sites are either lake side or almost. There are back-in and pull-through sites. Not all of the park is FHU but they have three pull through dumps. There is a new bathhouse that is very clean and requires a code to be entered on a keypad for entry. There is a small wildlife sanctuary (zoo but no petting) and free roaming peacocks. Good fishing from the docks or by boat. The park is close to shopping, casinos, and restaurants. Love this park.
Very quiet despite mostly long terms, lots of rules that keeps the campground clean, neat, and orderly. Not a great place for pets, walking area is rather small. Small stocked pond, fish were biting! Spaces are extra long, however made for a 5th wheel. If in class A with a tow, will have to unhook if you don’t have 25-30 foot long hoses.
