Pearson Camp
Pearson Camp is located near Dry Prong in the Kisatchie National Forest. The terrain consists of forested areas with flat and rolling landscapes. Campers can experience temperatures ranging from the 40s in winter to the 90s in summer, and nearby attractions include the Kisatchie Bayou Recreation Complex and the Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge.

The Pearson Camp is a very primitive camping experience which has been designated a Hunter's Camp. Located on U.S. Hwy 167, the easy access to the camp and to the National Catahoula Wildlife Management Preserve make the Pearson Camp a very popular camp during hunting season.

From Alexandria, take U.S. Highway 167 north for 27 miles. The Pearson Camp is on the right (east) side of the road.
