This is a small municipal campground. There is a host but must not live on site in the evening. My neighbors had a large group ..with kids…and they partied til midnight. Did not appreciate that! Sites have electric and water. Bathrooms are in the nature center, no showers. You can see the water but not camped by it. Nice park but very noisy for the price. $20
I love these city parks! This one had 3 RV sites that I could see..all on the west side of the ball field on a little road that runs between the soccer and baseball fields. It looks like they are building a new restroom? That is covering the 1st RV site. There was a 5th wheel parking in slot #2…i took the only other site available. There are no signs saying if there is a fee…the electric box was locked…but I didn't need it anyway.
Im on the oregon trail so this was a sweet little historic town that was base for seeing sights in the area.
Very quiet after sundown. Seemed very safe.
Far from the maddening crowd..although there were quite a few folks here Sunday evening…fishing and just relaxing..almost everyone left after sundown. I was camping and had the place to myself. Dry camping. Camping spots on the east side of lake …identified by firerings scattered here and there. Very pretty. Very quiet. Very primitive camping.
I was the only camper but they tell me it fills on the weekends. Weekdays not so much. There was a Camphost and a snack bar that was suppose to open today.
A little hard to find in that I didn't see any signs until I got there. Follow Google. On a good unpaved road
Large park with electric and non electric sites. Standard Nebraska fees…daily entrance + 8$ for non electric. 15 for electricity. There is a dump station with drinking water near it.
The sites are in the grass!
Firerings and picnic tables at most sites.
Near train tracks as most of these small towns are…i love the sound so that wasn't a problem for me.
Pretty setting with many birds.
Pit toilets. Grass well mowed but bathrooms and firepits dirty..otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Quiet when I was there.
Sties are scattered around a circular drive through this small city park. There is an area for tents in the center, RVs around the perimeter. There are electric connections in some of the spots. Not very well defined…you drive up over the curb to park for some spots.
Tenting is free. I'm in a van and did not need electric so I assume it's also free to stay. I saw no place to pay anyway.
busy little place in the evening. Very quite at night. Clean. Safe. Restrooms no showers.
