Off Highway 36 in north-central Kansas, Washington City Park provides municipal camping with full hookups for RVs. The campground features mostly 30-amp back-in sites plus four pull-through spots marked for 30/50-amp service. Water hydrants serve the area, though not every individual site has direct water access.
Campers access restrooms and showers at the swimming pool facility one block north of the camping area. A dump station sits at the campground entrance for convenient waste disposal. The straightforward layout and highway access make this a practical overnight stop for travelers, with sites available through a dropbox system at $15 per night.
Description
Washington City Campground is located at 1100 D Street in Washington's City Park. There are twenty spaces available, with 20 OR 30 amp hookups at each space.
There are also TWO 50-amp hookups available.
The City of Washington does not reserve camping spots. All spots are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Payment may be deposited into the drop box at the campground, or may be made at City Hall.
Amenities include electrical and water hookups, dump site, bathrooms with showers and potable & non-potable water.
