Scott County Park, managed by the Scott County Conservation Board, includes six distinct campgrounds, and Woodside sits at the end of that list as the most RV-focused of the group. Full hookups are standard at every site, with electric, water, and sewer connections alongside fire rings and picnic tables. The terrain is notably flat and open. That openness means back-in slots are spacious, hard-surfaced, and level, but it also means little shade and minimal privacy between sites.
Cleanliness stands out in multiple reviews. Reviewer Stuart K. describes the bathroom and shower facilities as "impeccably clean" with reliable hot water, and the grounds themselves as well-kept throughout. Rangers patrol regularly, which likely contributes to the overall upkeep. Tent campers can use the sites, though reviewers consistently point toward Incahias Campground as a better fit for those without an RV.
The broader park gives campers access to Cody Lake and Glynn's Creek for kayaking and canoeing, along with catch-and-release fishing. The Glynn's Creek Trailhead is within reach of the campground, connecting to a wider trail network used by hikers and cyclists. A heated pool with a water slide operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and firewood is available for purchase at park entry stations.
Road access to the campground has drawn some comment from reviewers, so those towing large rigs should account for the approach. Campers wanting more tree cover and a woodsier layout can look at Wilderness Campground, Scott County Park as a nearby alternative within the same park system.
