Affordability: Cabin options near Boone range from $50-$100 per night depending on amenities. "We loved our stay here! Beautiful campground and well maintained. Unfortunately the skate arena was closed for the season. Lots of trails to choose from and spacious campsites," notes Chelsea G. about Spring Lake County Park.

Activities scheduling: Jester County Park offers structured programming. "By far, this county park has a lot of fun activities and access points to the Saylorville waterway circuit. In addition to the water access ways, there is a sweet pond to fish in, several hiking trails, a brand new Nature Center, amphitheater, bison and bird viewing, and even cabins if you want to rent them (fully stocked, linens included!)," explains Larissa C.

Cabin alternatives: Some cabin campers prefer RV accommodations during busier seasons. "The Campground has a good picnic area, restrooms, and an excellent trail. It's also inexpensive," explains Tom S. about Ledges State Park.
