Managed by the Harrison County Conservation Board, Schaben County Park sits within Schaben Park about two miles off Highway 30 on gravel road. The campground has just 15 sites, varying in size, with level back-in spots, 30 and 50 amp electric hookups, water hookups, and a dump station. A small pond is on the property. Ambient sound runs to distant train horns and cattle. Showers, drinking water, and a pet-friendly policy round out the amenities, and the season runs April 1 through October 31. Campers interested in camping near Dunlap will find this a low-key county option worth considering.
