Spring beauty

I stayed by the lake, the spaces there are parallel to the road. Which gives you a beautiful view of the lake. I was there early in April when all the flowering trees were in bloom! Full hook up made it even the nicer!

Sitesite 6 on the lake.

Great location and amenities

We stayed in the modern section of the campground. This is the electric and water only section. The sites range from very uneven to moderately uneven in this section. The full hookup site section is flat but with less tree cover. The sites in modern electric water only can be awkward to back into with no room to pull forward due to a ditch in some areas. We stayed in site 10 which was uneven, no room for a tent, and small. Next time we would try 9. The campground offers a beach and fairly busy fishing lake, some trails. Over all it was less busy on opening weekend than Turkey run or raccoon lake.

First Time and will be coming again

This was my family's first time camping here and our first time using our camper. Very easy to park sites, from what I could tell. I believe I was at modern site 9. It had a moderate incline but wasn't hard to level. That spot has a trail behind it to go down to a little dock which seems like many other people may use the trail, so probably won't use that site when it gets busy. The park staff were super friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our time there. The fishing was pretty good too!

Great Campground

This is a great campground. We stayed at site 30, a modern site with water, electric and sewer. Sharing of water and electric between two sites, so come prepared with extensions for water and electric. Only sites are next to us. Woods behind and open grass and field in front of this site. Disc golf course is awesome, in the woods, up and down ravine. 18 holes plus practice basket. Hole 1 starts by primitive sites closer to beach. Ask for a disc golf map at gatehouse. Beach area is nice. We were the only people there the first 2 days. Mostly people at campground had boats for fishing . 3 playgrounds for kids.
