Brooks RV Park - full hookup The safest park in Louisville!

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Situated just off I-65 in Brooks, Kentucky, this full-hookup RV park sits on a dead-end road bordered by large trees, giving it a country feel despite its location in the greater Louisville metro. The road into the park has a reputation for being rough, so drivers of longer rigs should approach with care. All sites run 50-amp with water and sewer connections, and each includes a picnic table and fire pit. Reservations are available, and pets are welcome.

The park holds nearly 80 RV sites alongside a small number of mobile homes, and reviewers note the paved interior roads were recently resurfaced. A laundromat is on-site. One notable noise factor: train tracks run close to the property, and trains do pass through at night. David S. noted that "otherwise this place was quiet," suggesting the trains are the primary sound source rather than traffic or neighboring campers. Cell service has come up in reviews, so campers relying on data may want to confirm coverage before a long stay. WiFi is available on-site.

Rates run $55 to $60 per night, which reviewers find competitive compared to larger chain parks in the region. The park manager, Annie, receives consistent praise for responsiveness. Campers staging trips into Louisville will find the location workable, with Horine Reservation Camping at Jefferson County Memorial Forest a few miles to the west for those wanting a more wooded overnight option on a separate night. Brooks RV Park makes a practical base for anyone needing reliable full hookups near the city.

Nice place

Clean park. Decent location. We stayed for a week over Christmas. The park manager Annie was very helpful. There's train tracks real close and a few trains go by at night. But that didn't bother us. Otherwise this place was quiet. We will be back.

Pleasantly surprised by this nice campground

What a nice RV campground near all Louisville and the surrounding areas have to offer visitors. It is nicely landscaped with fairy lights at night. The Manager Annie is awesome. I have stayed here on multiple business trips. Highly recommend this park.

Beautiful, safe, big rig RV Park close to I-65 just outside of Lou, KY

This is a hard to find gem in Louisville, KY! I highly recommend this park. Nice sized sites, reasonable priced comparied to the KOA, all good full hookups, nicely kept, and most importantly it is in a safe country setting surrounded by large trees and on a dead end road. The staff was friendly, they answer the phone, and the other campers there were great.
