Description

*SON MOUNTAIN RANCH is located in beautiful North Idaho, surrounded by alpine vistas, beautiful mountains and clear glacial lakes. We are approximately 3 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park. With 3 nice campsites on the front part of our property, we welcome campers coming to visit the area.

*Son Mountain Ranch is located 1.5 miles (3 minutes) from Silverwood Theme Park, easy access off highway 95 and just a mile and a half up the road. We are also 10 miles from Farragut State Park with beautiful Lake Pend Orielle, and our close to our wonderful neighbors 1 mile to the east, Cedar Mountain Farms offering beautiful hiking trails for a small carload fee. Son Mountain Ranch is a working farm and ranch so there is always some sort of animal activity going on here! You will hear our chickens and sheep, as well as our protector donkeys giving a shout out now and then. Often times in the distance, you will hear coyotes and even wolves howling! We have a volleyball/badminton court and a tennis/basketball court available for your use. Check in with us if you would like a visit with our animals, and we can arrange a time to give you a little tour. Our 3 campsites are located on the front of our property directly offside the main driveway. Campsite 1 (The Woods) is under a treed, woodsy area. Campsite 2 (The Field) is on an open field space. Campsite 3 (The Arena) is open although surrounded by a few trees. Each site has a picnic table. We have a nice clean porta potty available for our campers with a little hand washing sink inside. *

Son Mountain Ranch specializes in growing many of the herbs used in our Herbal Wisdom Tea and Herbal blends. Also grown on the ranch are veggies and several varieties of fruit and berries. Son Mountain Ranch is known for raising Katahdin Sheep for both meat and starter flocks, chickens for eggs, as well as our delicious North Idaho Raw Honey.

Prefect spot!

Stayed here with my wife and children while we were visiting Silverwood. This location was perfect and less than 5 minutes from the park entrance. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience and very accommodating

We had a great experience staying at Son Mountain Ranch! We went to go to Silverwood and we’re very happy that it’s only 5 minutes from the site. The host was very kind and welcomed us in although we came very late! We bought delicious farm fresh eggs from the host and also got a lovely tour of the animal! Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to camp and have an easy drive to Silverwood!
