Mountain River Ranch

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Mountain River Ranch, an established RV-friendly campground outside Ririe, Idaho, running $35–$45 per night from May through October. Access comes with a rough-road caveat worth noting before towing a larger rig, though the campground accommodates trailers and motorhomes up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. Sites sit in open terrain near the Snake River, and several reviewers specifically mention the river views as a consistent draw.

The campground has a small pond on-site that draws families with kids and dogs alike. Sites can run a bit tight, but the common areas are well-maintained, and the bathrooms earn repeated praise for cleanliness. Weekday stays tend to be quieter than weekends, based on reviewer accounts. Staff are consistently described as helpful and knowledgeable about local activities. Heise Hot Springs is less than a mile away, and Idaho Falls is within reasonable driving range for resupply.

"Clean bathrooms, wonderful and flat sites, easy hookups, kind people," notes Kathy S. after a weekday stay. Campfires are allowed, WiFi is available, and a dump station is on-site. Nearby alternatives include Big Rock Campground and 7N Ranch for campers who want to compare options along this stretch of the Snake River corridor before committing to a site.

We would camp here again

Like the title says, we wouldn't camp here again. Right from the moment we drove in with our 30ft travel trailer the staff were very helpful. The site we chose was in the back of the campground. The kids loved the pond and riding in the canoe. The whole experience was wonderful. Thanks again. Staff and management. We highly recommend Mountain River Ranch.

So cute!

Campsites are a little tight but great common area’s. Bathroom are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen and little pond is crystal clear and perfect to let the dogs swim.

Quiet.

Quiet, recently changed owners so some amenities are not available yet. Water and electric, no sewer. There is a nice bath house with showers, no laundry at present.

Beautiful spot, nice staff

This is a tucked away little spot close to the Snake River, that feels totally peaceful and calm. It isn't crowded or bustling like some RV parks, but it has good amenities, and the staff are extremely nice and helpful with ideas for what to do in the area. It's right next to a beautiful view of the Snake River. Really couldn't ask for anything better from an RV campground.
